Admission and registration in the Master in Hotel Management

Pre-registration can be made along the whole year thorugh the web page: www.ice.upm.es/hoteles
Complete Tuition: 8.640 euros
1st Term: Face-to-face classes
2nd Term: Internship
3rd Term: Final Project work
Method of payment:
Application Until Sept. 10th, 2013 3,600€
2nd installment: at program registration Between September and October 10th, 2013 2,160€
3rd installment Before Dec 15th, 2013 2,880€
      

Tuition includes:

  • Classes during the academic year

  • Tutorials and virtual assistance.

  • Complete Master documentation (Paper and electronic support).

  • Internet use.

  • Participation in all the complementary activities organized.

  • Field trip (travel, accommodation and full board in a hotel), with an internship tutor.

  • 6 month internship (2nd term) in a hotel company in Spain or other country, with a follow-up by the Tutor and Hotel Internship director.

  • Counselling and orientation for the Final Master Thesis and assessment by a Board (3rd Term)

  • Master students will be supplied with a free Health Insurance and a card from the Technical university of Madrid during the school year and internship period.

  • Students will have free access to the Spanish Association of Hotel Managers and its Job opportunities site.

  • Students will benefit from the World Tourist Organization, as the Master Program organization is a member of it.

  • Student can use all the facilities from the Technical University of Madrid: cafeteria, library, Internet service, etc. and the ones provided by the ICE located at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos.

  • This tuition fee does not include the issuing of Master Diploma nor the end of Master course trip.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Definitive registration takes place at the Polytechnic University between September 12th and October 8th of 2012 and once the following procedures have been completed: interview, presentation of documents, etc.

Documents to be provided at pre-registration:

• Copy of the Academic Record Certificate*

• Copy of the University Degree achieved*

• ID or Passport Copy

(*) Foreign students should provide a legal document of the University Degree completed, issued at the country the studies have been fulfilled.

Additional documents to be submitted to the Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación (ICE):

• 2 photos

• Application form

• Professional and academic CV (if available).

For the student admission, the following information will be considered:

MASTER’S DEGREE

To obtain the Degree of "MASTER in Hotel Management" issued by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the student must have completed the three term periods (Ist term: face-to-face classes, 2nd term: internship, 3rd term: final Master thesis) that make up the curriculum through the corresponding assessment tests.

Students who have not successfully passed the assessment tests, will be given a Certificate of Attendance corresponding to the term fulfilled, specifying the course content and duration of the academic period.
